Standard Scale Connection ALIBI-MEMORY-INTERNAL
internal Alibi Memory to store weighing results of a scale
Some scales (e.g. Bizerba ST, SOEHNLE 3030)
have an optional internal calibratable data storage.
This is an add-on board (with own microprocessor) that is built into the housing of the evaluation device of the scale.
This alibi memory is used for storing the weighing results together with a continuous weighing number in a Flash-EPROM (memory 4-8 MB sufficient for 400.000-800.000 mesasuremt values) which makes the measurement traceable.
For control purposes the values can later be shown in the display of the scale.
The Scales-Dispatcher is able to return this weighing number together with the measurement values back to the caller.
The weighing number can be printed in business documents in the calling system (e.g. SAP).
